Description
CastBond is the leading nickel-chromium ceramic alloy in China, renowned for its exceptional properties. Designed specifically for modern porcelains, CastBond's unique formulation ensures reliable bond strength, making it the ideal choice for creating stunning aesthetic restorations.
One of CastBond's standout features is its remarkable melting and casting fluidity, enabling the creation of sharp and delicate margins with consistent and reliable castings. With a combined yield strength of 865 MPa and a hardness rating of 420 Vickers, CastBond offers unparalleled resistance to clinical wear and deformation. This impressive mechanical strength allows for the design of thin wall copings and interproximal connections, providing greater strength without adding bulk.
When it comes to the bond between CastBond and porcelain, you can expect flawless results with no visible dark finish lines at the margins. CastBond also boasts excellent oxidation control, resulting in a light and resilient oxide that remains consistent even after multiple firings. Additionally, CastBond offers maximum resistance to high-heat thermal distortion, ensuring protection against potential distortions, giving you peace of mind.
Choose CastBond for its proven performance and superior properties, and achieve exceptional aesthetic restorations with ease.
APPLICATIONS
Porcelain fused to metal (PFM), single units, long-span multiple unit bridgework, maryland bridge, metal sub-structure for polymer resins (acrylic & composites), full cast crowns, implant superstructures.
PORCELAIN COMPATIBILITY
CastBond performs best with traditional medium grain porcelains: VITA porcelain powder , SHOFU Halo, Noritake EX-3, Synspar, Ivoclar porcelain powder ,Dentsply Sirona ,Ceramco 3,as well as other commercially available medium-grain porcelains.
Product ingredients
Nickel: 62.0%, chromium: 24%, molybdenum: 9.8%, aluminum: 1.3%, niobium: 1.3%, silicon: 1.2%
Key parameters and Case show
Using Ming
Base type: The crown thickness is greater than 03mm, and the thickness of the polished and sandblasted parts should be at least 0.3mm
Dao: Build a horizontal road. The diameter of the main and horizontal roads is 5mm, and the road is 3.5mm.
Overlapping and use of embedding materials: It is recommended to use embedding materials that match the wire alloy. The embedding ring needs to be heated at 950 ℃, and after reaching the temperature, the insulation needs to be maintained for more than 20 minutes.
Oxygen flame centrifugation:
1. Use 8 # multiple empty wells to configure oxygen and liquefied petroleum gas. Adjust the oxygen pressure to 0.38-0.4Mpa to prevent overheating.
2. Prepare the flame, preheat the crucible first, and then add a certain amount of alloy. Heat the alloy evenly with a slight flame until the bright shadow disappears and the particle field is clear (without waiting for the alloy to melt into a trap), which is the best time to produce. The environment should be naturally cooled.
High centrifugation molding: The optimal molding time is to heat the alloy until 12 seconds before the bright shadow disappears.
Piece cleaning: After removing the piece, cut it off and polish it according to the standard procedure.
Notes:
1. Alloy must not be overburned.
2. Pre oxidation treatment. Maintain 980 ℃ under vacuum for 90 to 120 seconds.
3. It is recommended to apply the color blocking porcelain in two coats.
4. Use and operate by professional technicians.
The casting, cutting, polishing, and polishing processes should be carried out in a well ventilated and dust-free production environment.
