I just got braces and was struggling to get the elastics on. These hooks are incredible and saved me so much grief! The bands stay on the hook well, and the other end is great for adjusting the elastic after it’s on.

These placers are a game changer. I use them to place elastic bands on my son's braces and they make this process so much easier and quicker. I no longer have to stick my hand in my son's mouth to try to find the hooks. Instead the placer serves as an extension of my hand, which is much more comfortable for both my son and myself. Once I'm done using the placer, I rinse it in water and put it away until next time. I've been using the same placer for almost 3 weeks now and it's in perfect condition. So a pack of 20 should last a long while. I only wish my son would learn to use them on his own.

This tool has made attaching the elastics much easier! Still tricky to do it, but it used to take much longer, with many more unsuccessful attempts, before getting this tool. Orthodontists should give it to patients. I’ll never need to use all of these. A single one can be cleaned and reused.
